Seeker of Light – The Soul Journey of Koh Shoki

While most children were absorbed in play, I often found myself, even while running around energetically outdoors, pondering a deep question within:
“What am I? My heart seems to exist only inside this body. And nowhere else. Then… who am I really?”

Each time I asked this, I became acutely aware of myself as a being beyond the physical body. A strange sense of dissonance with the world around me would arise, and then suddenly, reality would come crashing back in with an overwhelming intensity. While other children were lost in simple joys, I was already captivated by the “mystery of existence”. From that mystery, a unique sense of purpose began to take root within me.

This desire grew stronger by the day. I began devouring spiritual books, seeking true healing—not just accumulating surface-level knowledge, but trying to internalize and practice those teachings deeply. While friends focused on future careers and daily life, my heart was always directed toward easing the suffering of others’ souls.

But the path was far from easy. Many didn’t understand my interests and sometimes said I was “detached from reality.” Even so, I chose to follow the voice within.

I also gave talks and healing sessions to hundreds of medical students and aspiring healers from all walks of life, sharing both spiritual techniques and traditional wisdom. For example, in Taiwan, I trained under a renowned foot reflexology master. Despite the short time, he recognized my skill and offered me a position at his official clinic, saying, “Come back anytime—you’re always welcome.”

Years into this global journey, something strange began to happen. More and more people reported profound emotional changes and experiences of deep healing after receiving my sessions. These moments uplifted me and gave me strength. But as my healing work continued to expand, even those who had once celebrated my success began to show signs of envy.

This realization unraveled years of mystery. I was born connected to a sacred energy, a divine source that stretches back to ancient times. It was not a coincidence—it was my life’s purpose. When I heard the astrologer’s words, something awakened within me. It was as if a long-sealed door flew open, and light poured through.
